What he does

Min Khant Paing — known as Emrys — founded Emrys Business Solutions and leads its discovery, deployment and support work. The product is a set of connected business systems: point of sale, inventory and purchasing, CRM and receivables, accounting and finance reporting, visa and immigration case management, and custom web apps. Each deployment runs on the customer's own premises, with remote training and support.

Why on-premise and offline-first

The design comes from operating a real trading business, not from a slide deck. Thun Nay Min buys and sells rice in a market where power and internet are not guaranteed; the counter has to keep working when the connection does not. That constraint shaped the system: a local server, an offline-first app, receipts that print on the hardware the shop already owns, and data that stays in the building.

Background

Thun Nay Min has operated since 2020 in Yangon, trading rice with credit customers, mixed units (bag, viss, pyi, kilogram) and stock moving between locations. Emrys Business Solutions grew out of that operation: the same system that runs the shop is now packaged for other businesses, delivered and supported remotely worldwide.

How he works

  • Operating experience first. Every feature has to survive a working day in a real business, with staff who are not software people.
  • Data stays with the customer. The database lives on the customer's computer and can be exported.
  • Remote delivery. Discovery, configuration, migration, training and support run over video and secure remote sessions.
  • Languages. English, Burmese (မြန်မာ), Chinese (中文), Thai (ไทย).
