Company

We build systems that hold up.

EBS builds and operates the same business systems it sells. It grew out of Thun Nay Min, a rice-trading business that has operated since 2020; that shop runs on the system today. That operating experience is what we package for other companies — in Myanmar and abroad.

On-premise · Offline-first · Supported directly by the people who build it

The company

The systems we sell are the systems we run.

EBS builds and operates the same systems it sells. It grew out of Thun Nay Min, a rice-trading business that has operated since 2020, and its shop runs on the system today — through real sales, purchases, stock counts and month-end reports.

That operating experience is what we package for other companies: software that has already done a working day, in a business where the units are bags, pyis, visses and kilos and the internet is not always there.

We are not a reseller passing projects to a distant team. The person who builds the system also supports it, and the trade-offs are ours too.

Founder

Who is behind EBS

EBS is built and run by Min Khant Paing, who also runs Thun Nay Min. The shop system is not a demonstration he maintains for clients; it is the system his own operation uses.

That is the standard we apply to every deployment: would we run this in a working business, on a normal Tuesday, with staff who are not software people?

Min Khant Paing

Founder & systems builder

Runs EBS and Thun Nay Min, and builds and supports the shop system both rely on.

Principles

What we optimise for

These are the decisions we make when a project gets difficult, not values written for a website.

Offline-first reality

A stable connection here is not something to assume. The system trades on the local network and syncs when a connection returns, instead of stopping when the line drops.

Data ownership

Your database stays on your computer. You can take a copy and export to Excel or CSV. Leaving should not mean losing your history.

Honest scope

If a requirement is outside what the system does well, we say so before the proposal. A smaller honest scope is better than a larger failed one.

Direct support

You talk to the people who build and run the system. There is no call-centre layer between your problem and the person who can fix it.

No lock-in

Excel and CSV export are built in, and the database is yours. We do not hold your history hostage to keep a subscription.

Documentation

Configuration, roles and backup and restore steps are written down for your team, so the system is not a black box when we are not there.

Timeline

Built in production, not in a pitch deck.

There is no funding-round story here. The system grew out of operating a real trading business and fixing what got in the way.

We only date what we can state plainly: the operation started in 2020, the first in-house version followed, and the packaged product is what EBS offers now.

2020

A rice-trading business

Began running operations for a family rice-trading business — sales, purchases, stock and receivables.

Then

The first in-house version

Built the first version of the shop system for that operation: POS, inventory and reports, shaped around how the business actually worked.

Now

Packaged as EBS

That operating experience is packaged as EBS for other companies, with remote setup, training and direct support.

How we work

What you can expect

A short path from the first call to the first sale, with the scope written down before anything is built.

01

Discovery call

We map how you sell, buy stock, track receivables and report. We also say plainly what the system does not do.

30 minutes

02

Written scope and quotation

Modules, setup, migration, training and the tier, with figures for that scope. The list price is where the engagement starts; the written scope fixes the final figure.

Before any build

03

Setup and handover

Deployed over a secure remote session, configured around your units, receipts and roles, and walked through with your team on video.

100% remote

04

Support and review

24/7 support, agreed response times and backup checks. The system changes as the business changes.

Ongoing

Service area

Remote by design. On-premise where it counts.

We don't travel on site. Deployment, configuration, data migration and training are delivered remotely, so we work with clients in Myanmar and anywhere else.

Remote delivery means installation is completed over a secure session, with your team trained on video and written runbooks left behind. On-premise describes where the data lives — on your own computer.

Where we work

  • Myanmar — remote deployment and support
  • Asia-Pacific — remote deployment and support
  • Europe & Americas — remote deployment and support
  • Any time zone — sessions scheduled around your hours
  • Support in English, Burmese, Chinese and Thai

Build on a system that has already done a working day.

Tell us how the business runs today. We will walk through what the system does, what it does not do, and what a realistic scope looks like.
